Student Council, or STUCO, recently held elections for next year’s leadership positions. While many positions ran unopposed, the student body had to elect many positions, namely senior class president and secretary, sophomore class president and the chair of community involvement. Elections were held May 9.
“I feel like [STUCO]’s cool. You get to be a part of making a change in the school and proposing ideas,” next year’s chair of community involvement Allen Johnson (‘26) said.
STUCO will also have new sponsors next year. No one has been confirmed to be taking over.
“I think I can bring positivity, I feel like I can really bring communities together,” Next year’s Sophomore class president Blanca CortezPerez (‘28) said.
