During the summer we all wonder what things we can do. It can become a struggle of what to plan with friends and family. One great place to go is Kenwood Cove. A place to go to cool off on hot days. The daily pass this year has raised to $7.
There are also really awesome nature programs to join in this summer. These nature activities are in Lakewood park, $10 per person. Beautiful Butterfly is on June 4, Birds of a Feather is on June 11, Leaf Life is on June 18, and Beetles and Bugs is on July 9. All of which have two sessions. One being from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the other being from 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.
There are also so many inexpensive things to do, like having a picnic in the park. Next time you are bored, try riding your bike around town following the many scenic bike trails around town. You could even try new hobbies like reading or writing.
