Social media is used daily for a multitude of purposes. People can use it as a way of communication, making videos with friends and influencing others.
There are a lot of strategies that come with planning; including setting goals, knowing the audience and using analytics. Setting goals helps set a foundation on what achievements the individual wants for their account. Some goals can be increasing the audience or improving relatable content for followers to share it with others.
“The goals I have is seeing my platform grow and thrive so that I can live out my dream of being famous,” Anneliese Strowig (‘26) said.
Knowing the audience comes with pros and cons. Pros include increasing engagement and relatable content and the cons include the changes within the platform, the possibility of negative engagement and time management.
Knowing the audience can be difficult but sometimes necessary to gain more traction and interest.
